The famous Koheilan line was founded by Koheilan Adjuze, a stallion imported from Egypt and used at Babolna, Hungary. His sons and grandsons were premier sires in Europe when most of their offspring were tragically lost to WWII bombings, making the remaining descendants rare and very sought after by knowledgeable breeders around the world. Laural Vaquero carries 8 crosses to this precious blood, 6 of them through *Lassa, the beautiful Koheilan I daughter known as the "Prize of Poland", who he strongly resembles.

After 20 years of effort, this colt was the very first triple linebred Laurali foal, and we were humbled and awed at the wonderful results. Lauralin Silver has been bred back to Lauverus for 2003.
